Having a culturally informed counseling space helps you to process your emotions and explore difficult topics. I have more than 10 years of experience supporting individuals navigating expat life transitions, cultural identity shifts, and the complexities of living in a foreign country.

Navigating life abroad is a topic which touches me deeply. Having lived in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Spain, the United Kingdom and Germany, I know firsthand the complexity of integrating into a new culture and the profound challenge it represents.

I believe in open dialogue and actively involving my clients in their therapeutic journey. This process helps to uncover new perspectives, allowing for meaningful change and personal growth.

Being on the move is, for many, a way of life. With this in mind I offer a hybrid approach. Sessions can take place in-person in my office in Berlin or online, allowing you to continue your therapeutic process from anywhere in the world.

My approach

Hello, I’m Andrea, a relational psychoanalytic counsellor with over 15 years of experience.

I believe in open dialogue and actively involving individuals in their therapeutic journey. Together we create a space to explore deep and fundamental questions, such as ‘Who am I?’ and ‘What do I truly want?’

I help individuals to understand deep-rooted patterns and emotions, break free from self-limiting beliefs, and navigate their present stage of life with authenticity. This process is aimed at uncovering new perspectives, cultivating meaningful change and achieving personal growth.

My approach is integrative, drawing from relational and Lacanian psychoanalysis, as well as incorporating neuroscience-based insights on trauma and attachment.

I specialize in supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, parenthood, relationships, transcultural identity, and major life transitions. Sessions can be conducted in my office in Berlin or online, depending on your needs.
